一、原文:The first test of my life.
Everyone has many tests in their life. There are a lot of small tests and also big ones. And these tests start in early childhood.
I remember that night I looked for mom to suckle me as usual before I went to bed. But my mom was gone. When my grandmas coaxed me to drink milk powder, I cried loudly. Grandmas tried everything to coax me but useless. They were anxious and sad, looking at me in extreme sadness. So painful through the first night for weaning. In the daytime, when grandmas coax me to play while feed me delicious food, I forgot all about drinking my mom's milk，happily spending the first day during weaning. But when night came， I remembered the satisfaction of drinking my mom's milk. When I couldn't find her yet，I started to cry again. It went on like this for several days.
But it was getting better day by day. In the end I overcame the test of weaning.
When mom came back and saw me, she was very pleased and praised me: “my baby is great！You seem more mature than before”. Dad said to me earnestly: “Jadan，this is the first big test of your life! You win!”.
二、譯文:我人生的第一大考
每個(gè)人的人生都有很多考驗(yàn)，有小的考驗(yàn)，也有大的考驗(yàn)，并且這些考驗(yàn)在幼兒時(shí)就早早地開始了。
記得那天晚上睡前我像往常一樣找媽媽吃奶，可是媽媽不見了，奶奶和姥姥哄著我喝奶粉，我嚎啕大哭，奶奶和姥姥想盡辦法哄我都無濟(jì)于事，看著極度悲傷的我，她們焦急而難過，就這樣痛苦的熬過了第一個(gè)斷奶的夜晚。到了白天，當(dāng)奶奶一邊哄著我玩，姥姥一邊給我喂著香噴噴的飯時(shí)，我把喝奶的事情暫時(shí)忘到了九霄云外，愉快地度過了斷奶期間的第一個(gè)白晝?？墒且坏酵砩暇拖肫鹆撕戎鴭寢屇痰哪欠N滿足感，當(dāng)還是找不到媽媽時(shí)，我又嚎啕大哭起來，就這樣連續(xù)了好幾天，不過一天比一天逐漸地好轉(zhuǎn)，最終我戰(zhàn)勝了斷奶的考驗(yàn)。媽媽回來時(shí)看到我欣慰地夸贊到:“寶貝好棒，看著你比以前成熟了”，爸爸語(yǔ)重心長(zhǎng)地說:“Jadan，這是你人生的第一大考！你戰(zhàn)勝了！”
三、語(yǔ)法:
1.one和ones的用法:
#one是不定代詞，用于代替單數(shù)的不特指名詞，相當(dāng)于a\an+名詞。例如：Various lessons are ready for you here and you can choose one (代替:a lesson) to enjoy.
各種各樣的課程都為你準(zhǔn)備好了，你可以挑一個(gè)上。
#ones用于代替復(fù)數(shù)的不特指名詞，相當(dāng)于一個(gè)不帶冠詞的復(fù)數(shù)名詞，例如：
He collects quite a lot of books, ones that I have never read.
他收藏了很多很多書，有一些我從來沒有讀過。
2.early的用法:
#early做形容詞:早期的(修飾名詞)，如本文例句:And these tests start in early childhood.
#early做副詞:早早地(修飾動(dòng)詞)，也可以表達(dá)成:And these tests start early in childhood.
3.及物動(dòng)詞與不及物動(dòng)詞區(qū)別:
#及物動(dòng)詞：后面必須跟賓語(yǔ)意義才完整。
#不及物動(dòng)詞:后面不必跟賓語(yǔ)，本身意義完整。
4.be gone: 消失，不見了
#與have gone、has gone和had gone意思相同，如:She's gone. 可以是:She has gone. 也可以是:She is gone.
#還可表示:將要消失，如：
You guys keep talking. I'm gone!
你們這幫家伙繼續(xù)聊，我閃了。
5.動(dòng)詞與動(dòng)詞不定式的搭配，如:
coax sb. to do sth.哄騙某人做某事，
也可以與介詞加動(dòng)名詞搭配，如:
coax sb. into doing sth.
6.后綴less：
具有否定(不，無)的意思，一般加在名詞后，構(gòu)成形容詞，比如:
careless粗心的、worthless無價(jià)值的、cheerless不快樂的、fearless不害怕的、hopeless絕望的等等。
7.后綴ness:
沒有實(shí)在的含義，一般加在形容詞后構(gòu)成抽象名詞，比如：
safeness安全、happiness快樂。
darkness黑暗、kindness善良等等。
