About 150,000 square meters of exhibition space has already been booked for next year's China International Import Expo, an indication of industry leaders' confidence in the Chinese market, organizers said in Shanghai on Wednesday as this year's event closed. Sun Chenghai, deputy director of the CIIE Bureau, said at a news conference that companies have booked booths for next year's expo at a faster rate than for 2021.
第四屆中國國際進(jìn)口博覽會11月10日在上海閉幕。中國國際進(jìn)口博覽局副局長孫成海在閉幕新聞發(fā)布會上介紹，截至目前，第五屆進(jìn)博會企業(yè)預(yù)定展覽面積超過15萬平方米，進(jìn)度快于去年同期，顯示出各行業(yè)龍頭企業(yè)對中國市場的信心。
The exhibition area this year was a record 366,000 sq m, up 6,000 sq m from 2020. Affected by COVID-19, the value of deals reached at this year's CIIE was $70.72 billion, down 2.6 percent year-on-year, Sun said. However, 422 new products, technologies and service items were released at the event, a record high, he said.
孫成海說，本屆進(jìn)博會展覽面積達(dá)到36.6萬平米，較上屆擴(kuò)容6000平方米，創(chuàng)歷史新高。受疫情等因素影響，本屆進(jìn)博會按一年計(jì)意向成交金額707.2億美元，比上屆略降2.6%。共展示422項(xiàng)新產(chǎn)品、新技術(shù)、新服務(wù)，創(chuàng)歷史新高。

Benefits for technical school graduates
技工教育'十四五'規(guī)劃印發(fā)
China will improve employment benefits for technical school graduates in the 2021-2025 period, according to a five-year plan published by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. Work will be done during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) to allow technical school graduates to enjoy relevant policies on employment, entrepreneurship and army recruitment, as well as those on the granting of professional titles and employment in public institutions, says the plan.
人社部近日印發(fā)的《技工教育“十四五”規(guī)劃》明確，“十四五”期間，我國將持續(xù)提升技工院校畢業(yè)生待遇。推動落實(shí)技工院校畢業(yè)生享受就業(yè)創(chuàng)業(yè)、參軍入伍、職稱評審、事業(yè)單位公開招聘等相關(guān)政策。
In the 2021-2025 period, China plans to keep the number of students at technical schools above 3.6 million and the employment rate for graduates above 97 percent, said the plan. By 2025, China expects to have provided over 20 million vocational training sessions to enterprise employees and key employment groups, as well as training more than 2 million highly skilled personnel.
《規(guī)劃》提出，“十四五”期間，技工院校在校生規(guī)模保持在360萬人以上，畢業(yè)生就業(yè)率保持在97%以上；到2025年，面向企業(yè)職工和就業(yè)重點(diǎn)群體開展職業(yè)培訓(xùn)2000萬人次以上，累計(jì)培養(yǎng)培訓(xùn)高技能人才200萬人以上。

UK to add China's vaccines to approved list
英國宣布承認(rèn)中國疫苗
The British government said it would recognize COVID-19 vaccines on the World Health Organization's Emergency Use Listing later this month, adding China's Sinovac and Sinopharm Beijing vaccines to the country's approved list of vaccines for inbound travelers. The change, which will go into force from Nov 22, means travelers who have received these two jabs will be considered fully vaccinated in Britain.
