Lula wins second round of Brazil election

巴西前總統(tǒng)盧拉在2022總統(tǒng)選舉第二輪投票中獲勝

Former Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of the Workers' Party (PT) won the second round of presidential elections on Sunday and will serve a four-year term beginning on Jan. 1, 2023. According to figures released by the Superior Electoral Tribunal, Lula da Silva obtained 59.8 million votes, or 50.86 percent of the vote, surpassing current President Jair Bolsonaro of the Liberal Party (PL), who received 57.8 million votes, or 49.14 percent. This is the smallest difference in a second round presidential election in Brazil's history. In the first round held on Oct. 2, Lula obtained 48.3 percent of the vote, compared to 43.2 percent received by Bolsonaro.

Civil service openings to increase

2023年國考計劃招錄人數(shù)增加

China plans to hire 37,100 civil servants for central government departments and institutions for next year, an increase of 18.7 percent year-on-year according to the National Civil Service Administration. 
據(jù)國家公務(wù)員局，中央機關(guān)及其直屬機構(gòu)2023年度公務(wù)員考試計劃招錄3.71萬人。較去年相比，今年的招錄人數(shù)增幅達18.7%。

A total of 25,000 positions will only be eligible for new college graduates in 2023 to help them find employment. More than 3,000 vacancies will be open only to those working in select primary-level projects, as well as veterans who have college degrees and served for a minimum of five years.
今年的招錄計劃中，設(shè)置了2.5萬個計劃專門招錄應(yīng)屆高校畢業(yè)生，幫助高校畢業(yè)生就業(yè).本次招考還設(shè)置了3000余個計劃定向招錄服務(wù)基層項目人員，和在軍隊服役5年以上的高校畢業(yè)生退役士兵。
 
Applications will be accepted online from Oct 25 to Nov 3, with positions to be posted on authorized websites. Candidates will need to take a national written exam which is scheduled to be held on Dec 4 across the country, while those applying for certain positions will need to take additional skills tests.
本次招考主要采取網(wǎng)上報名方式，報名時間為10月25日至11月3日?？忌鷮⒃?2月4日參加公共科目筆試，報名某些崗位的考生還需要參加專業(yè)能力測試。

Since 2009, applicants for civil service positions in central authorities and their branches have exceeded 1 million. More than 2 million applicants qualified to take the exam last year and experts estimate the number for this year is likely to increase.

Japanese company announces plans for ‘human washing machine’

日本公司擬研制“人類洗澡機”

Osaka-based Science Co. Ltd., a company known for its many innovations in bath and kitchen technology, has announced its plans to create its own version of the human washing machine. Named ‘Project Usoyaro’, it will feature “fine bubble technology”, as well as a variety of monitoring sensors and an artificial intelligence system to produce a complex bath experience.

總部位于大阪、以多款廚浴創(chuàng)新設(shè)備著稱的日本“科學(xué)”科技公司宣布計劃打造自己版本的“人類洗澡機”。這一名為Usoyaro的項目采用了最新的微小泡沫技術(shù)，并安裝了多種傳感器和一套人工智能系統(tǒng)，意在打造豐富的沐浴體驗。

The stated goal of Project Usoyaro is not solely to clean the body of the user, but also to provide a healing space to relax and unwind to the sound of soothing music and images on a water-resistant display inside the machine. Sensors inside the washing machine will measure the state of sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves, and the built-in AI will use the data to create the most comfortable atmosphere possible.

“科學(xué)”公司稱，Usoyaro項目的目標不僅是徹底清潔用戶身體，還想通過舒緩的音樂和防水顯示屏上播放的圖像讓用戶放松，療愈身心。洗澡機內(nèi)的傳感器將會感知用戶的交感神經(jīng)和副交感神經(jīng)狀態(tài)，內(nèi)置智能系統(tǒng)會利用收集的數(shù)據(jù)來營造盡可能舒適的氛圍。

Science Co. expects Project Usoyaro will result in a functional human washing machine by 2024, which the company hopes to showcase at the 2025 Osaka Expo.
