Thank you and good morning everybody.?I'm so grateful for you all having me here today.?

Four years ago, when I became Patron of Place2Be, I believe what you all know to be true that getting support to children at the very earliest stage helps improve their outcomes later in life. Schools and teachers are at the heart of this support, and have a crucial role to play.

四年前，當(dāng)我成為Place2Be的贊助人時(shí)，我相信大家都知道這樣的事實(shí)：在越早的階段為孩子們提供應(yīng)有的教育支持，越有利于他們未來人生的發(fā)展。學(xué)校和老師在這其中起著核心作用，扮演者至關(guān)重要的角色。

You know your pupils. You know their circumstances. You can sopt a family's having a tough time. You occupy a special position because you can identify issues and take action when it's most needed.

你們了解學(xué)生，你們清楚他們的具體情況，你能夠察覺一個(gè)學(xué)生的家庭正在經(jīng)歷困難的時(shí)期。你們處在這樣一個(gè)特殊的位置，因?yàn)槟銈兡軌虬l(fā)現(xiàn)問題并在必要是采取行動(dòng)。

Parents also have a key role to play in this support system.?As a mother just getting used to leaving my own child at the school gates. It is clear to me that it takes a whole community to help raise a child. Whether we are school leaders, teachers, support staff or parents, we are all in this together. We are all working to give children the emotional strength they need to face their future lives and thrive.

家長也在這個(gè)教育系統(tǒng)中起著關(guān)鍵作用。作為一個(gè)剛剛習(xí)慣送孩子去學(xué)校的母親，我非常清楚撫養(yǎng)一個(gè)孩子需要整個(gè)社會的力量。無論我們是學(xué)校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、老師、教職工或父母，我們都在這個(gè)社群中。我們都在努力給孩子們提供他們需要的心理支撐，來應(yīng)對他們的未來和發(fā)展。

I am proud that the Royal Foundation is playing its part, too, after their Heads Together campaign. Collaborating with experts like yourselves, we're looking at providing easy access to information and practical tools to support teachers, parents and children feel comfortable talking about their mental health.

我很驕傲的是皇家基金會在“共同協(xié)作”的活動(dòng)后，仍發(fā)揮著他們的作用。通過與在座各位這樣的專家們合作，我們希望能提供更便捷的信息渠道和實(shí)踐工具，從而讓老師，家長和孩子們更愿意談?wù)撍麄兊男睦斫】怠?/p>

We are all here today because we share the belief that every child deserves the chance to fulfill their potential. When I came to this comference two years ago, I left with a real sense of energy and passion about what we could all achieve together. And I'm looking forward to learning even more today.

今天我們聚集于此，因?yàn)槲覀兌枷嘈琶總€(gè)孩子都應(yīng)當(dāng)有機(jī)會發(fā)揮他們的潛能。兩年前我參加這個(gè)會議的時(shí)候，我對我們將要共同實(shí)現(xiàn)的目標(biāo)充滿著極大的力量和熱情。我也期待我今天能夠?qū)W到更多。
