Airlines see significant recovery in bookings

春節(jié)假期全國(guó)民航旅客運(yùn)輸量創(chuàng)歷史新高


The eight-day Spring Festival holiday that lasted from Feb 10 to Saturday, coupled with relaxed visa polices of several countries, has significantly boosted travel demand and fueled further growth of the air travel market.

長(zhǎng)達(dá)8天的春節(jié)假期(2月10日-2月17日)恰逢我國(guó)對(duì)多個(gè)國(guó)家簽證政策放松,不僅引爆了出行需求,也推動(dòng)航空旅行市場(chǎng)規(guī)模進(jìn)一步增長(zhǎng)。


During the holiday period, the total number of air passengers handled in China, including via domestic and international flights, reached 17.99 million. The daily average number of passenger trips handled hit 2.25 million, setting a new high, said the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

中國(guó)民航局公布的數(shù)據(jù)顯示,春節(jié)假期全國(guó)民航(包括國(guó)內(nèi)和國(guó)際航班)累計(jì)運(yùn)輸旅客1799.2萬人次,日均運(yùn)輸旅客224.9萬人次,創(chuàng)歷史新高。


Over the festival period, the total number of flights operated in China reached 137,000, up 4.9 percent compared with the same period of 2019, or before the COVID-19 pandemic. The figure jumped 33.2 percent year-on-year, the CAAC said.

民航局?jǐn)?shù)據(jù)顯示,春節(jié)期間,全國(guó)航班總數(shù)達(dá)13.7萬班,較2019年同期(疫情前)增長(zhǎng)4.9%,較2023年同期增長(zhǎng)33.2%。


"Domestically, Guangzhou Baiyun, Shenzhen Bao'an and Chengdu Tianfu international airports were the busiest airports during the holiday," said Zheng Hongfeng, founder and CEO of VariFlight, an aviation data and solution service provider.

飛常準(zhǔn)(飛行數(shù)據(jù)及方案提供商)創(chuàng)始人兼首席執(zhí)行官鄭洪峰透露,廣州白云、深圳寶安、成都天府是春節(jié)期間國(guó)內(nèi)航班量最高的機(jī)場(chǎng)。


For international and regional routes, the number of flights operated during the festival period reached 15,000, which rebounded to nearly 70 percent of levels seen in 2019, with the figure surging 364 percent year-on-year, VariFlight found.

飛常準(zhǔn)的數(shù)據(jù)顯示,國(guó)際及地區(qū)航線實(shí)際客運(yùn)航班量1.5萬班次,已恢復(fù)至2019年同期近七成水平;較2023年同期增長(zhǎng)364%。


During the period, a total of 13.52 million Chinese and foreign travelers entered or exited the country, an increase of 2.8-fold compared with the holiday period last year, and the number resumed to nearly 90 percent of 2019 levels, said the National Immigration Administration.

據(jù)國(guó)家移民管理局通報(bào),春節(jié)期間共有1351.7萬人次中外人員出入境,較2023年春節(jié)同期增長(zhǎng)2.8倍,恢復(fù)至2019年春節(jié)同期的近九成。


With more flights connecting China and Southeast Asia becoming available, an increasing number of passengers from Southeast Asian countries traveled to or transferred through China during the festival period.

由于中國(guó)與東南亞之間的航線增加,春節(jié)假期從東南亞國(guó)家前往或過境中國(guó)的旅客數(shù)量也增多了。



China's big Lunar New Year films spark social media debate about body issues, self-esteem and justice system

兩部春節(jié)檔電影引發(fā)全民熱議


Two Chinese films released over the Lunar New Year holiday have set off a social media buzz, with state agencies even joining the discussion which addresses topics such as weight loss, self-love and legal justice.

春節(jié)期間上映的兩部中國(guó)電影在社交媒體上引發(fā)熱議,討論的話題包括減肥、愛自己和法律正義,甚至吸引了官方機(jī)構(gòu)的參與。


Directed, written and starring Jia Ling, a representative of the new generation of female Chinese directors, YOLO is about an overweight woman, Leying, who loses weight through boxing training while finding herself and learning to love herself through the sport.

《熱辣滾燙》由新一代中國(guó)女導(dǎo)演代表人物賈玲執(zhí)導(dǎo)、編劇并主演。該片講述了超重女主樂瑩通過拳擊訓(xùn)練實(shí)現(xiàn)減肥,同時(shí)通過這項(xiàng)運(yùn)動(dòng)找到自我并學(xué)會(huì)愛自己的故事。


While adapted from the Japanese film 100 Yen Love, the Chinese version is exceptional for Jia's physical transformation – for the movie she lost more than 50kg (110lbs) in a year to portray the rebirth of her character.

雖然改編自日本電影《百元之戀》,但中國(guó)版電影卻因賈玲的身體蛻變而與眾不同--為了演繹角色的重生,她在一年內(nèi)減掉了50多公斤(110磅)的體重。


Jia's weight loss has been discussed more widely on social media than the film. Dominating social media are positive comments cheering Jia's weight loss, with some netizens even saying they were encouraged to head to the gym. Some reviewers wonder whether the film may trigger body anxiety and also say it downplays the difficulty of losing weight. But some top reviews on Douban said the film did not try to portray “l(fā)osing weight”, but rather how a person could change their life through achieving a dream.

Another film sparking discussion during the holiday period is Article 20 directed by Zhang Yimou, a prestigious and award-winning director in China. Compared with Jia's YOLO, Zhang's film tackles a more controversial topic.

另一部在假期引發(fā)熱議的電影是由中國(guó)知名并屢獲殊榮的導(dǎo)演張藝謀執(zhí)導(dǎo)的《第二十條》。與賈玲的《熱辣滾燙》相比,張藝謀的這部影片涉及的話題更具爭(zhēng)議性。


In the film, three suspects who hurt or killed people had cause for self-defense or acted bravely for a just cause. Zhang, who has been one of China's top filmmakers, earned 700 million yuan at the box office in four days of screening Article 20. It rates 7.8/10 on Douban and has more than 70,000 reviews. The movie has also sparked discussion about legal awareness and education in China.

在影片中,三名傷人或殺人的犯罪嫌疑人都有正當(dāng)防衛(wèi)的理由,或是出于正義的勇敢行為。張藝謀一直是中國(guó)最頂尖的頂級(jí)電影制作人之一,在《第二十條》上映的4天內(nèi),票房收入達(dá)7億元人民幣(9700萬美元)。該影片在豆瓣上的評(píng)分為7.8分,有超過7萬條評(píng)論。這部影片也引發(fā)了關(guān)于中國(guó)法律意識(shí)和教育的討論。


Luo Xiang, a renowned professor of criminal law at China University of Political Science and Law, said in a recent comment about the film that the public and judicial officers should avoid taking a "godlike" perspective or adopting a rational but armchair stance. Instead, they should consider the situation in which the defender was involved, empathize with the defender's position, and refrain from making excessive demands on the defender, Luo said. 

知名的刑法學(xué)教授羅翔近日在一篇評(píng)論中表示,不要開啟“上帝視野”,老是站在“事后諸葛亮”的理性人立場(chǎng),必須身臨其境,帶入防衛(wèi)人的立場(chǎng),不要對(duì)防衛(wèi)人過于苛責(zé)。
