Lu Jiao Liang, Located deep in the Qinling Mountains of Shaanxi, at the border between Chang an District of XianCity and Ningqiang County of AnkangCity, Lu Jiao Liang is a place seldom 
visited by people, with its vegetation remaining pristine. The towering fir forestsand the vast meadows adorned withblooming wildflowers make it one of themost well—preserved natural sanctuariesto this day.


Lu Jiao Liang stands at an altitude of
2700 meters and is a section of the mountain ridge in the 
west of the NiubeiliangNature Reserve, named for its resemblance to deer antlers. The mountain
ridge of  Lu Jiao Liang is steep and treacherous,with the southern slope consisting ofcliffs and deep valleys. From the top, onecan enjoy a panoramic view of the majestic mountains, high clouds, and strongwinds. The meadow on the ridge is vast,with lush grasses and flowers, gradually 
as cending as one moves along the ridge.To reach Lu Jiao Liang, one must enterfrom NiuJuan Gully 
in Ningqiang County, pass through five col, cross numerousmeadows, and walk through towering
trees. At each vantage point, one can lookout over the Ice Crystal Summit and theBald Mountain.


Inside Lu Jiao Liang, there are peculiarly shaped rocks.There is a rock formation that resembles a woman withflowing hair, which is widely recognizedas the “Goddess Statue” and is affectionately called the “Lu Jiao Goddess”.Visitors here often can' thelp butexclaim, “Lu Jiao Goddess, 
my paradise, my lover.” In fact, this is a form 
of worship and reverence for the magnificent Qinling Mountains.


Because Lu Jiao Liang is “one of themost well-preserved natural sanctuaries," it is now well protected. Both Xian and Ankang governments’functional departments have implemented strict protection measures for this area. Accordingto the Qinling Protection Regulations,entry into the territory of Lu Jiao Liangis prohibited without 
approval from thecompetent authorities, and illegal activities such as crossing and hunting are forbidden.
