國(guó)人飲食嚴(yán)重'高鹽低鉀'

Researchers recently conducted an investigation into Chinese people's dietary habits and suggested they should consume less sodium and more potassium. 

研究人員最近對(duì)中國(guó)人的飲食習(xí)慣進(jìn)行了調(diào)查，建議人們少攝入鈉、多攝入鉀。

The research team, led by the George Institute for Global Health (China), the Chinese Center for Disease Prevention and Control, and Queen Mary University of London, collected data from a survey of more than 5,300 participants in six provinces. 

由喬治全球健康研究所（中國(guó)）、中國(guó)疾病預(yù)防控制中心和倫敦瑪麗女王大學(xué)的研究人員組成的團(tuán)隊(duì)收集了來(lái)自六個(gè)省的5300多名受訪者的調(diào)查數(shù)據(jù)。

The results revealed the average sodium intake was over 4,300 mg per day (equivalent to 11 grams of salt), whereas the average daily potassium intake was below 1,600 mg. A high-salt and low-potassium diet is common in the Chinese population. 

結(jié)果顯示，受訪者日均鈉攝入量超過(guò)4300毫克(相當(dāng)于11克鹽)，而日均鉀攝入量低于1600毫克。高鹽低鉀的飲食習(xí)慣在中國(guó)人中很常見(jiàn)。

It has previously been demonstrated that sodium and potassium intakes are associated with blood pressure. 

此前研究已證實(shí)鈉和鉀的攝入與血壓有關(guān)。

The researchers called on people across the country to decrease salt and increase potassium in their diets to prevent and control hypertension, thus reducing their risk of cardiovascular disease.

研究人員呼吁全國(guó)各地的人們?cè)陲嬍持袦p少鹽的攝入，增加鉀的攝入，以預(yù)防和控制高血壓，從而降低心血管疾病的患病風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。

明代長(zhǎng)卷5.12億元成交

The Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) painter Wu Bin's long scroll "Ten Views of a Fantastic Rock" was sold for 512.9 million yuan ($76.6 million) at the 15th Anniversary Celebration of Beijing Poly Auction on Sunday, marking the highest auction price for ancient Chinese artworks. 

10月18日，在北京保利拍賣十五周年慶典拍賣會(huì)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)，明代畫家吳彬的長(zhǎng)卷《十面靈璧圖卷》以5.129億元人民幣(約合7660萬(wàn)美元)成交，創(chuàng)下中國(guó)古代藝術(shù)品拍賣價(jià)格的最高紀(jì)錄。

According to historical records, a well-known figure in the Ming Dynasty received a strange stone that he liked so much that he invited Wu to paint it. 

據(jù)史書記載，明朝有一個(gè)大人物得到了一塊奇石，愛(ài)不釋手，于是邀請(qǐng)吳彬?yàn)檫@塊石頭繪制長(zhǎng)卷。

Wu depicted the stone from 10 different views and the figure invited a group of friends to write prefaces and postscripts on the painting, which became known as "Ten Views of a Fantastic Rock".

吳彬分別從十個(gè)側(cè)面描繪了這塊奇石的形態(tài)，大人物又邀請(qǐng)了一眾好友為此畫題跋，共同完成了這幅《十面靈璧圖卷》。

3 / Better use of museum resources

中小學(xué)擬設(shè)博物館課程

The Ministry of Education and the National Cultural Heritage Administration co-released a document on Monday to guide better introduction of resources of museums into education at school. 

教育部和國(guó)家文物局10月19日聯(lián)合發(fā)布關(guān)于利用博物館資源開展中小學(xué)教育教學(xué)的意見(jiàn)。

As per the document, schools nationwide are urged to design new activities related to history, natural science, and technology, based on collections in local museums. Syllabuses of courses such as Chinese, history, geography, fine arts, physics, chemistry and biology, among others, will include contents on museums. 

意見(jiàn)指出，全國(guó)各地中小學(xué)要充分挖掘當(dāng)?shù)夭┪镳^資源，研究開發(fā)歷史類、自然科學(xué)類、科技類等系列活動(dòng)課程。語(yǔ)文、歷史、地理、美術(shù)、物理、化學(xué)、生物等學(xué)科教學(xué)，要有機(jī)融入博物館教育內(nèi)容。

More extracurricular activities after 3:30 pm are encouraged to feature museums, according to the document. Not only guided tours to venues, but also creative formats like lectures, role-play games, and comic books on museums are needed to increase the students' interest.

意見(jiàn)指出，鼓勵(lì)在下午3點(diǎn)半課后時(shí)間開設(shè)博物館系列活動(dòng)課程。不僅限于解說(shuō)導(dǎo)覽，還應(yīng)運(yùn)用專題講座、角色扮演、漫畫書等創(chuàng)新方式，增強(qiáng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣。

4 / WHO's vaccine plan goes well

世衛(wèi)疫苗計(jì)劃進(jìn)展順利

A total of 184 countries and economies have now joined COVAX, an international initiative co-led by the World Health Organization and partners to ensure effective and equitable global access to COVID-19 vaccines, the WHO chief announced on Monday. 

世界衛(wèi)生組織總干事譚德塞10月19日表示，目前已有184個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)加入由世衛(wèi)組織及其合作伙伴發(fā)起的"新冠肺炎疫苗實(shí)施計(jì)劃"，更多國(guó)家有望公平有效地獲得新冠疫苗。

"COVAX is the most effective way to share safe and effective vaccines equitably across the world," WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at a virtual press conference. 

譚德塞在當(dāng)天舉行的線上新聞發(fā)布會(huì)上說(shuō)，"新冠肺炎疫苗實(shí)施計(jì)劃"是目前世界范圍內(nèi)公平分享安全有效疫苗的最有效機(jī)制。

Ghebreyesus also mentioned "the worrying phase" that the COVID-19 pandemic has entered. According to the website of WHO, as of Monday, there were 198 COVID-19 candidate vaccines being developed worldwide, and 44 of them were in clinical trials.

譚德塞還表示，新冠疫情已經(jīng)進(jìn)入一個(gè)"令人擔(dān)憂的階段"。根據(jù)世衛(wèi)組織網(wǎng)站公布的最新數(shù)據(jù)，截至10月19日，各國(guó)正在研發(fā)的候選新冠疫苗共有198種，其中44種已進(jìn)入臨床試驗(yàn)階段。
