A Chongqing father surnamed Zhang and his girlfriend were sentenced to death by the Chongqing No 5 Intermediate People's Court on Tuesday for murdering his two young children by throwing them out of a high-rise apartment window.

2021年12月28日，重慶張某及其女友因?qū)埬硟擅H生未成年子女扔出高層公寓窗戶，構(gòu)成故意殺人罪，被重慶市第五中級人民法院判處死刑。

According to prosecutors, Zhang filed for divorce from his now former wife Chen in April 2019 to pursue an online friend, surnamed Ye.

據(jù)公訴機(jī)關(guān)稱，為追求網(wǎng)友葉某，張某于2019年4月與其前妻陳某提出離婚。

Ye kept telling Zhang that she could not accept the fact that Zhang had children. Subsequently, the pair conspired to kill both children by staging an "accidental fall" so they could then start a new family of their own, prosecutors said.

葉某多次向張某表示，她不能接受張某有小孩。公訴機(jī)關(guān)表示，隨后兩人合謀采用制造“意外高墜”的方式殺害兩名兒童，以便他們可以組建自己的新家庭。

In June last year, Ye repeatedly urged Zhang through WeChat to commit the crime. Zhang’s son was under his care and already resided with him in his apartment. On Nov 1, Zhang asked his ex-wife Chen to bring their daughter to his apartment to stay overnight. At about 3:30 pm the next day, with no other adult present, Zhang threw both children out the window. The 2-year-old girl died at the scene and the 1-year-old boy died at the hospital.

去年6月，葉某多次通過微信催促張某作案。張某的兒子由張某撫養(yǎng)，已與張某一起住在其公寓里。11月1日，張某讓前妻陳某帶著女兒到他的公寓過夜。次日15時(shí)30分許，在沒有其他成年人在場的情況下，張某將兩個(gè)孩子都扔出了窗外。2歲女孩當(dāng)場死亡，1歲男孩經(jīng)送醫(yī)院搶救無效死亡。

Prosecutors said the defendants, Zhang and Ye, had jointly committed intentional homicide and that their actions constituted a crime subject to criminal responsibility under the law.

公訴機(jī)關(guān)認(rèn)為，被告人張某、葉某共同故意殺人，致二人死亡，依法應(yīng)當(dāng)以故意殺人罪追究其刑事責(zé)任。

二、反有組織犯罪法表決通過|China Adopts Anti-Organized Crime Law

Chinese lawmakers on Friday voted to adopt an anti-organized crime law in order to strengthen the work of combating and rooting out organized crime in line with the rule of law. The law, to take effect on May 1, 2022, was approved at a session of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

為保障在法治軌道上常態(tài)化開展掃黑除惡工作，12月24日，十三屆全國人大常委會第三十二次會議表決通過《中華人民共和國反有組織犯罪法》。該法自2022年5月1日起施行。

The law includes provisions on the criteria for identifying various types of "soft violence", such as organized disturbing, pestering and assembling a crowd to cause an uproar for illegal profits or illegal impacts, as well as the responsibilities of regulators in various industries.

反有組織犯罪法規(guī)定了“軟暴力”手段的認(rèn)定，明確為謀取非法利益或者形成非法影響，有組織地進(jìn)行滋擾、糾纏、哄鬧、聚眾造勢等，可以認(rèn)定為有組織犯罪的犯罪手段。該法還對行業(yè)監(jiān)管職責(zé)作出明確規(guī)定。

An improved long-term mechanism to prevent and control organized crime within industries will be established, according to the law, which also calls for strengthened oversight and management of industries and fields where organized crime is liable to occur.

據(jù)反有組織犯罪法，將建立健全行業(yè)有組織犯罪預(yù)防和治理長效機(jī)制，對有組織犯罪易發(fā)的行業(yè)領(lǐng)域加強(qiáng)監(jiān)督管理。

To better prevent organized crimes against minors, the law also stipulates that organized crime activities involving minors will face heavier criminal penalties.

為防止黑惡勢力侵害未成年人，反有組織犯罪法規(guī)定，實(shí)施有組織犯罪侵害未成年人權(quán)益將依法從重追究刑事責(zé)任。

三、羽生結(jié)弦獲北京冬奧會門票|Japan's Hanyu Qualifiesfor Beijing 2022
