上海的交通怎么樣？聽聽外國人和人大代表怎么說

Here's the second installment of our "Question Time for 2022" with a look at some of the most discussed topics at the Shanghai Two Sessions上海兩會(huì). We took to the streets and asked expats about aspects of the city's transportation【交通】 that still bother them. Here's what they had to say.

這是第二期“2022提問時(shí)間”，我們將關(guān)注一些上海兩會(huì)討論最多的話題。我們在路上采訪了一些外國人，問問他們這個(gè)城市的交通有哪些方面仍然困擾他們。

Shanghai is a big city and getting around the town is an important part of life. Shanghai's transportation system is impressive, moving millions of people around everyday. 

上海是一座大城市，在城市里穿梭是生活的重要組成部分。上海的交通系統(tǒng)每天輸送數(shù)百萬人，令人印象深刻。

And in terms of private cars, EVs have become all the rage. I even bought one myself. 

說到私家車，電動(dòng)汽車已經(jīng)成為風(fēng)尚。我甚至也給自己買了一輛。

Let's find out what some expats think about getting around the city of Shanghai and see whether they have some suggestions on improvements.

讓我們探尋一下外國人怎么看待在上海通勤，看看他們是否有一些改善的建議。

In terms of transport, maybe a lot of more EVs on the street now, charging stations and stuff like that. Do you have any comment on should there be more charging stations or less charging stations?

就交通而言，或許現(xiàn)在的道路上已經(jīng)有很多電動(dòng)汽車了，也有充電站等設(shè)施。你對增加或減少充電站有什么看法嗎？

In my opinion, I think EV is the future. So, I would personally love to see more charging stations in fact.

I personally would not have a car in Shanghai because I think the subway is so efficient, but I haven't seen any charging posts for electric cars.

我可能不會(huì)在上海買汽車，因?yàn)槲艺J(rèn)為地鐵效率很高。但是我還沒有見過電動(dòng)汽車的充電樁。

Do you think maybe the subways might close a little bit too early?

你認(rèn)為地鐵結(jié)束運(yùn)營的時(shí)間會(huì)有點(diǎn)早嗎？

Some of the subways especially line 2 to airport close at around 10pm. And it would be great if they extend it.

一些地鐵線，特別是去機(jī)場的2號線，晚上十點(diǎn)就停運(yùn)了。如果延長運(yùn)營時(shí)間會(huì)更好。

Well, now that we've got some input from people on the street. Let's check in with Siqi at the Two Sessions to see what's going on in terms of transportation.

I got you Stephen, so issue number one, EV charging stations … I know a great person for this. she submitted a suggestion last year on the same issue, let's go to find her.

"Number one, residents have to go through a complicated process to apply for permission to install a charging pole in a residential compound. I suggest newly built residential compounds take this into consideration, and pre-arrange the poles and the space needed. I will keep pushing on this issue because if there are complaints about it year after year, it'll push the government to resolve this." 居民申請?jiān)谛^(qū)安裝充電樁，需要經(jīng)歷復(fù)雜的程序。我建議新建小區(qū)可以考慮這個(gè)問題，提前安排充電樁和所需空間。我將持續(xù)推進(jìn)這個(gè)議題，因?yàn)槿绻昴甓加嘘P(guān)于充電樁的抱怨，這個(gè)提案將推動(dòng)政府解決問題。

But that what about the old residential compounds? We have a delegate with social worker from Hongkou, take a listen at what she says.

"The residential compound asks you to purchase a fixed parking spot before they can agree to install a charging pole for you. But in the old complexes, most people have no fixed parking spots. I suggest communities sign agreements with their residents, and say, yes, we can install the post, but you have to agree to move your car to another spot after charging is done. This has worked in some compounds, and the government should push them forward." 在同意為你安裝充電樁之前，小區(qū)會(huì)要求你購買固定車位。但在很多老小區(qū)，大多數(shù)人沒有固定車位。我建議社區(qū)可以和居民簽訂協(xié)議，并且說：“是的，我們可以安裝充電樁，但是你需要同意在充完電之后，將你的車移動(dòng)到其他地方。”這種機(jī)制已經(jīng)在一些小區(qū)實(shí)行，政府應(yīng)該推進(jìn)實(shí)施。

And onto issue number 2, pertaining to subway operating hours, I know a delegate that knows some obstacles【障礙】 that lie in this issue, let's go check in with him.

現(xiàn)在說第二個(gè)話題，關(guān)于地鐵運(yùn)營時(shí)間，我知道一位代表了解阻礙這個(gè)議題推進(jìn)的知識，讓我們聯(lián)系他。

"Multiple issues have to be considered. First of all, the subway operators have maintenance needs. They also said passengers drop to less than 5% of capacity during extended hours on weekends, except on holidays. This doesn't cover their costs. Given these difficulties, I suggest shopping malls and entertainment venues that are open late provide taxi coupons【優(yōu)惠券】 in collaboration with ride-share apps. Authorities can also consider shortening the interval of in-demand all-night bus routes." （關(guān)于地鐵運(yùn)營時(shí)間延長，）很多事情都需要考慮。首先，地鐵運(yùn)營人需要維護(hù)地鐵。他們也說過，在周末，除了節(jié)假日以外，延長時(shí)間的乘客數(shù)會(huì)下降到運(yùn)營能力的5%一下。這低于運(yùn)營成本?？紤]到這些困難，我建議開門晚的商場和娛樂場所可以與共享交通工具平臺合作，提供打車優(yōu)惠。政府部門也可以考慮縮短必要的通宵公交線的發(fā)車間隔時(shí)間。

Currently the midnight buses run at 40-minute intervals, which is again not the most convenient. And the idea of improving the midnight public transportation is echoed by Legislator Zhou Yu from Sinopec, here's what she says.

目前，通宵公交的間隔時(shí)間為40分鐘，這并不是最方便的選擇。來自中國石化的人大代表周瑜也提出了改善午夜公共交通的提案。

Many delegates are also making suggestions on scooters【小型摩托車】, which is again a popular motive transport for the expat community.

They noticed that some of the people have been charging the scooters in an illegal and unsafe manner.

他們發(fā)現(xiàn)一些人的充電方式不合法、不安全。

For example, some of the charging wires fly out of a window to a scooter downstairs outdoors.

例如，一些充電線從窗戶出來，連接樓下的電動(dòng)車。

And some of the residential communities start building these special charging booths for this purpose, and this should also be included in the city's old residential compound renovation projects, and receive financial support.

因此，一些居民區(qū)已經(jīng)開始設(shè)置充電樁，這也應(yīng)該被納入城市老舊小區(qū)改造工程，并且獲得財(cái)政支持。

2. BEIJING 2022 TORCH RELAY ROUTE ANNOUNCED

冬奧來了！北京冬奧會(huì)火炬?zhèn)鬟f點(diǎn)位確定

Beijing 2022 organizers have unveiled all the landmarks on the route for the upcoming Winter Olympic Torch Relay【冬奧火炬?zhèn)鬟f】. And Lei Shuran has more.

北京冬奧組委會(huì)公布了即將到來的冬奧火炬?zhèn)鬟f的點(diǎn)位。

Officials of Beijing Organizing Committeefor the 2022 Winter Games【北京冬奧組委會(huì)】 said the torch【火炬】 relay would take place from February 2nd to the 4th in Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou.

北京冬奧組委副秘書長介紹，北京冬奧會(huì)火炬?zhèn)鬟f將于2月2日至4日，在北京、延慶、張家口三個(gè)賽區(qū)進(jìn)行。

The relay will begin at the Beijing Olympic Forest Park【北京奧林匹克森林公園】, featuring about 1,200 torchbearers, of which the oldest is 86 years old, and the youngest is 14 years old.

火炬將在北京奧林匹克森林公園出發(fā)，約1200名火炬手參與傳遞，其中年齡最大的86歲、最小的14歲。

Other than the torchbearers, the relay will also incorporate technologies such as robots and autonomous vehicles.

除此之外，北京冬奧會(huì)還將把機(jī)器人和自動(dòng)駕駛等高新技術(shù)，融入到火炬?zhèn)鬟f中。

Zhang Yimou, the chief director of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2022 Winter Games, said the opening ceremony will be no longer than 100 minutes, and the goal is to be simple and exciting.

北京冬奧會(huì)和冬殘奧會(huì)開閉幕式總導(dǎo)演張藝謀表示，本屆冬奧會(huì)的開幕式以“簡約、安全、精彩”為創(chuàng)作原則，時(shí)長大約100分鐘。

"No more than 3,000 actors will perform at the opening ceremony. Although it's relatively simple, they still need to complete the performance at a big venue. We put the performances into the ceremony, to tell the Chinese story to the world." 我們（開幕式參演人員）大概不到3000人，因?yàn)楹喖s，再加上疫情，但是還要完成在這樣大的一個(gè)場景下的表演，或者說完成它的儀式流程。尤其我們并沒有特別設(shè)那種專門的板塊去表演，而是我們把表演劃到儀式當(dāng)中去，向世界講好中國故事。

The General Assembly adopted a resolution last month to urge UN member states to observe the Olympic Truce from January 27th to March 20th, 2022 -- beginning seven days before the start of the Olympic Winter Games and ending 7 days after the closing of Winter Paralympic Games.

聯(lián)大于2021年12月2日通過決議，敦促會(huì)員國在2022年1月27日至3月20日——北京冬奧會(huì)開幕前7日至北京冬殘奧會(huì)閉幕后7日——遵守“奧林匹克休戰(zhàn)”傳統(tǒng)。

The Japanese Olympic Committee【日本奧委會(huì)】 yesterday announced its delegation to Beijing 2022, 122 athletes will compete in the games, including Yuzuru Hanyu, the two-time Olympic champion figure skater who has ambitions for a third gold medal.

昨日（1月20日），日本奧委會(huì)公布了參加冬奧會(huì)的代表團(tuán)名單，122名運(yùn)動(dòng)員將參加比賽，其中包括兩屆奧運(yùn)會(huì)花滑冠軍羽生結(jié)弦，他將角逐第三塊奧運(yùn)金牌。

3. SH MUSEUM ROADS INTO TEAR OF THE TIGER

“虎笑寅年”，上海博物館舉辦中日虎年迎春展

To celebrate the Year of the Tiger and the 50th anniversary of the normalization【正常化】 of China-Japan diplomatic relations, Shanghai Museum is holding an exhibition showing 10 tiger-themed works of art from its collection and some from Kyushu National Museum of Japan【日本九州國立博物館】. Zhang Hong brings us more.

為迎接壬寅虎年暨中日邦交正?；?span>50周年，上海博物館聯(lián)袂日本九州國立博物館舉辦“虎笑寅年——中日虎年迎春展”。本次展覽共展出10件文物（含線上展品），包括本館甄選的6件精品文物，以及來自日本九州國立博物館的4件交流文物。

The gilt carpet weights unearthed in the Western Han Dynasty weigh about 3.6 kilograms. This powerful tiger carpet weight likely belonged to a royal family in ancient China.

西漢鎏金虎鎮(zhèn)全器重3600克。這件鎏金虎鎮(zhèn)很可能屬于中國古代的貴族家庭。

"In the Western Han Dynasty, these type of carpet weights were common in households. Apart from the tiger, there were also bear or other animals. But this one is quite rare. If you look closely, you'll see a collar with a seashell pattern on its neck. Archaeologists believe it might be a pet-tiger bred by a royal family in the ancient palace." 仔細(xì)看的話它的頸部有海貝紋的一個(gè)項(xiàng)圈，那么這樣的虎鎮(zhèn)或者是說像熊或其它動(dòng)物的鎮(zhèn)，在漢代的時(shí)候出土的比較多。考古學(xué)家認(rèn)為這些動(dòng)物是被皇宮的一些貴族所圈養(yǎng)的動(dòng)物，所以用這樣的造型來做席鎮(zhèn)在漢代是很流行的。

"At the beginning, I thought this carpet weight might oxidize quickly since it was produced in ancient times, but when I finally got to see the color and face of the tiger, I was so amazed by the preservation techniques of our professional experts. It's very meaningful to see this historical artifact." 我本來就想如果它氧化的很厲害的話，有可能已經(jīng)完全脫色了或有磨損什么的，但是現(xiàn)在看到這個(gè)老虎的表情都非常完好，我覺得這樣的文物能留存到現(xiàn)在讓我們看到是件很有意義的事情。

Other exhibits include this large blue-and-white porcelain【瓷】 dish from Kyushu National Museum of Japan.

其他展品還包括一件來自日本九州國立博物館的青花虎竹紋大盤。

With a diameter of 40 centimeters, the dish features a huge tiger surrounded by bamboo and rocks.

它的直徑約40厘米，盤子中部畫有一只大老虎，老虎四周環(huán)繞著竹子和巖石。

In Japan, people believe that a tiger should be surrounded by bamboo, which is quite different from Chinese art works.

與中國藝術(shù)品不同，在日本，人們認(rèn)為老虎周圍應(yīng)該環(huán)繞著竹子。

"After Japan learned how to make porcelain in Jingdezhen, they made this dish by themselves in the 19th century. It shows innovation and the influence of Chinese culture." 這件是日本本土自己學(xué)習(xí)了景德鎮(zhèn)的青花工藝之后，在19世紀(jì)的時(shí)候在志田一個(gè)窯口所生產(chǎn)的。所以代表的是日本本土文化的一種創(chuàng)新，但是不管是它老虎的形象也好，還是青花的制作工藝也好，都是受到中國持之以恒的影響。

It is Shanghai Museum's fourth exhibition featuring the Chinese zodiac【中國生肖】 and second consecutive year it cooperated with a museum outside China.

這是上海博物館第四次舉辦以生肖為主題的展覽，也是其連續(xù)第二年與外國博物館合作舉辦展覽。

Last year, Shanghai Museum partnered with National Museum of Korea to present a special exhibition on the ox.

去年，上海博物館與韓國國立中央博物館聯(lián)手，為觀眾奉上了牛年生肖文物交流展。

"China shared many cultural similarities with Japan and South Korea. So, we hope these zodiac exhibitions further strengthen communication with people elsewhere." 事實(shí)上我們可以看出，日本、韓國和中國有很多文化傳統(tǒng)的相似性，都屬于我們傳統(tǒng)的東亞文化圈，所以共同之處很多，通過這樣的一個(gè)展覽也能增進(jìn)中日兩國之間人民文化的相互理解和交流。

The free exhibition will run until February 27th.

此次展覽免費(fèi)對外開放，將持續(xù)至2022年2月27日。

Besides, the museum has also unveiled its new cultural products such as pillows, canvas bags, transportation cards, inspired by the tiger image from the venue's key exhibits.

此外，上海博物館文創(chuàng)中心還從文物中汲取靈感，開發(fā)了生肖多功能變形枕、“睡睡平安”帆布包、虎年交通卡等系列文創(chuàng)產(chǎn)品。
