紅玫瑰花是她的最愛，她的名字也叫Rose。每年她的丈夫都要送她打了可愛蝴蝶結(jié)的紅玫瑰。他去世的那年，玫瑰花送到了她的門口，卡片上寫著："我的情人節(jié)禮物"，跟往年一樣。
每年他為她送紅玫瑰，卡片上總這樣說："我今年更愛你，比去年的今天更愛。"隨著逝去的歲月，我對(duì)你的愛一直在增長(zhǎng)。"她知道這將是最后一次收到玫瑰花。她想，他是提前訂了玫瑰花。她親愛的丈夫不知道，他將走了。他總喜歡把事情做在前頭，這樣，如果他很忙的話，每件事都照樣做得妥妥當(dāng)當(dāng)。她整理好花莖，把它們插進(jìn)一個(gè)特別的花瓶，然后，將花瓶放在他滿臉笑容的像片旁，她會(huì)在她丈夫喜歡的椅子上坐上好幾個(gè)小時(shí)，看著他的相片，玫瑰花放在那兒。

"你是我的朋友和愛人，你總能滿足我的每一個(gè)需求。我知道才過了一年，但是請(qǐng)你盡可能不要悲傷。我希望你快樂，即使流著淚。這就是為什么在今后的歲月里每年都會(huì)送玫瑰給你."
"當(dāng)你收到這些花時(shí)，請(qǐng)想想我們一起度過的所有的幸福時(shí)光，我們是怎樣受到祝福的。我一直愛著你，我知道我將永遠(yuǎn)愛著。但是，親愛的，你必須繼續(xù)生活下去，你還有好多日子要過。

Then, went to get the tele phone, to call the florist shop. The owner answered, and she asked him, if he would explain, why would someone do this to her, causing her such pain?
"I know your husband passed away, more than a year ago, " The owner said, "I knew you'd call, and you would want to know. " "The flowers you received today, were paid for in advance. " "Your husband always planned ahead, he left nothing to chance. "
"There is a standing order, that I have on file down here. And he has paid, well in advance, you'll get them every year. There also is another thing, that I think you should know. He wrote a special little card. . . he did this years ago. "

Then, as she stared in total silence, this is what he wrote："Hello my love, I know it's been a year since I've been gone, I hope it hasn't been too hard for you to overcome. " "I know it must be lonely, and the pain is very real. For if it was the other way, I know how I would feel. The love we shared made everything so beautiful in life. I loved you more than words can say, you were the perfect wife. "
