It's official! There will be a Chinese player again in the NBA lineup in the next season. With his naturalization process completed, US-born basketball player Kyle Anderson is now a Chinese citizen who is eligible to represent his adopted country on the international stage.
官方消息！下賽季NBA陣容中又會有中國球員。隨著入籍程序的完成，美國出生的籃球運動員凱爾?安德森（中文名李凱爾）已完成合規(guī)歸化入籍手續(xù)，獲得中國國籍，有資格在國際舞臺上代表中國國家隊出戰(zhàn)國際比賽。

"With the effort and support of all parties involved, Li Kaier has obtained his Chinese citizenship and has met CBA president Yao Ming," the association said in a statement.
“在各方的推動和支持下，李凱爾已于今天（24日）上午獲得中國國籍，并于中國籃協(xié)主席姚明見面，”籃協(xié)在官方聲明中表示。

Born in New Jersey and drafted as a first-round pick by the San Antonio Spurs in 2014, Anderson averaged 9.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 69 games in the 2022-23 season for the Minnesota Timberwolves as a playmaking forward in his ninth NBA season.
安德森出生于美國新澤西，曾在2014年被圣安東尼奧馬刺隊首輪選中，在2022-2023賽季代表明尼蘇達森林狼隊出戰(zhàn)69場比賽，場均得到9.4分、5.3個籃板和4.9個助攻，這是他在NBA的第九個賽季。

His mother's grandfather was Chinese. In 2018, Anderson and his mother Suzanne visited Xinmu new village in the southern metropolis Shenzhen, Guangdong province, to explore his mother's family roots.  
安德森的外曾祖父是中國人。2018年，安德森跟隨母親蘇珊娜回到中國深圳新木新村尋親，找到了自己在國內(nèi)的家族，并且認祖歸宗。

Before Anderson, a glittering cast of athletes boasting Chinese heritage opted to suit up for China internationally, including Olympic champion freestyle skier Gu Ailing, Canadian-born ice hockey player Brandon Yip, aka Ye Jinguang, and, most recently, Hungarian-born short-track speed skating brothers Shaolin Sandor Liu and Shaoang Liu.

After "dog walking" services appeared online and quickly became popular, the public realized just how many people love to walk dogs.

According to data compiled by one platform, since June, the number of people posting advertisements to walk dogs has reached 105,700, while the number of people who need help walking dogs is only 27,400.

One student, Wu from the University of Melbourne, returned to her hometown of Suzhou in East China's Jiangsu province for summer vacation. She has already walked dogs for various pet owners five times this summer.

Chen Youhua, a professor at the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Nanjing University in Jiangsu province, believes that student interaction with pets can help reduce pressure, and foster a stronger sense of responsibility through the care of animals.
