You should say:
What equipment it was
What problem you had
When you had this problem
And explain what you did about this problem. (How you fixed or resolved the problem.)
About one year ago, I bought a new smartphone and went through a horrible experience. I purchased a Samsung phone from a phone shop in my local mall. I saved the money I needed over 6 months, which for me was hard core saving. I thought Samsung would be a good choice, as it is a major brand and I see lots of people using them. I was aware that a few years before Samsung had faced some problems with their phones, but I thought that was now in the past and everything would be okay. Also, I didn’t listen to my friends, who had been buying Huawei and Apple phones and were very happy with them.
For about a month, the phone was fine and I was very happy with its performance. Then I noticed that the signal would drop off and some of the functionality was not working. I did the usual thing of rebooting the phone, which seemed to solve the problem. The next day, the problem reappeared over and over again. I was at the end of my tether and didn’t know what to do. I was so frustrated I wanted to jump up and down on the stupid thing. It cost me so much money and all it was now was a dumb brick of black plastic.
Eventually, I took the phone to a guy I know downtown who fixes stuff like this. He had a look at the phone and told me what he thought the problem was. He said he could fix it but it would affect the warranty, so I needed to take it back to the shop. So, I hotfooted it to the shop where I explained my experience to the customer care person. He assured they would fix it. I waited for two days. Two days without a phone—can you imagine it? Anyway, once I had my phone back, it seemed fine and dandy. But the fault soon returned. In the end I went back to my friend with the small repair shop, and you know what? He fixed it for me while I waited. It was such a small repair, I don’t know how the Samsung repair place missed it.
