首批滬產新冠疫苗“克威莎”獲批使用

A one-dose recombinant coronavirus vaccine【單針重組新冠疫苗】produced by Shanghai-based CanSino SPH Biologics【康希諾生物科技有限公司】is now available. Some people got a shot today (January 27). Zhang Hong tells us more.

康希諾（上海）生物科技有限公司生產的單針新冠疫苗現(xiàn)已獲準使用。今天（1月27日）一些人已經進行了接種。

At 4pm, some residents got a dose of the vaccine at a temporary inoculation site in Baoshan District. 

下午四點，寶山區(qū)新冠疫苗臨時接種點啟動首批“上海產”新冠疫苗接種。

“I don't feel anything. This is my first. I feel reassured about its safety because it was produced locally.” 打的時候沒有任何感覺，因為這是我的第一針。這是上海產的疫苗，我對這個疫苗的安全性很放心。

People only need to get one jab, but will need a booster shot 6 months later. 

民眾僅需要接種1針即可完成基礎免疫，但6個月后還需要接種1劑加強針。

“With only one dose, it has an efficacy of over 60%, and it's over 95% effective against severe symptoms. Getting a booster shot will be even better.” 打一針能夠產生60%以上的免疫保護，特別是對于重癥的保護率是95%以上。打加強針當然就更好了。

“Over 200 employees will continue working during the Spring Festival. An estimated 200,000 to 300,000 doses of vaccines can be produced each day.” 在春節(jié)期間會有200多名員工堅守在生產一線，預計現(xiàn)在每天都能產出20到30萬人份的新冠疫苗。

As foreigners aged between 3 and 11 can now get a coronavirus vaccine in Shanghai, many parents had made a reservation. At an inoculation site for expats at Tianshan TCM Hospital【天山中醫(yī)醫(yī)院】, almost one-third of the vaccine recipients today (January 27) were children.

由于3到11歲的外國兒童現(xiàn)已能夠在上海接種新冠肺炎疫苗，許多父母已經進行了預約。在天山中醫(yī)醫(yī)院外籍接種地點，今日（1月27日）接種疫苗的人中近三分之一都是兒童。

Children need to be accompanied by a guardian to get a jab.

兒童需要監(jiān)護人的陪同才能進行接種。

“We already took our vaccine last year. I'm just happy that she's protected.” 我們自己去年已經打了疫苗。我很高興，她現(xiàn)在有疫苗的保護了。

The hospital also prepared little gifts like snacks and sachets【香包】to calm children down. A cartoon was played in the observation room. More than 30 hospitals and community health centers in Shanghai are authorized to vaccinate expats.

醫(yī)院還準備了零食和香包等小禮物，來穩(wěn)定兒童的情緒。觀察室里播放著動畫片。在上海有30多家醫(yī)院和社區(qū)衛(wèi)生中心得到授權為外國人接種疫苗。

2. WTO PERMITS CHINA TO PLACE $645 MLNIN DUTIES ON US IMPORTS

WTO認定中方每年可對美實施6.45億美元貿易報復

The World Trade Organization yesterday (January 26) allowed China to slap duties on US imports worth 645 million US dollars annually as part of a long running anti-dumping dispute with Washington.

世界貿易組織仲裁庭昨日（1月26日）發(fā)布裁決，認定美方沒有履行世貿組織生效裁決，中方在貨物貿易領域每年可對美實施6.45億美元的貿易報復。

China went to the WTO in 2012 to challenge countervailing duties【反補貼關稅】the United States imposed between 2008 and 2012 on 22 Chinese products including paper, solar panels and steel wire.

中國2012年加入世界貿易組織，并對美國于2008年至2012年期間對22種中國產品（包括紙張、太陽能板、鋼絲等等）征收的反補貼關稅提出申訴。

China had initially asked the three person WTO panel to award it the right to impose tariffs on $2.4 billion dollars of US goods but then scale back【縮減為】to 788.75 million dollars.

起初，中方對世貿組織小組提出授權申請，要求對價值24億美元的美國商品征收關稅，而后該商品總額卻縮減為7.8875億美元。

In November 2019, a WTO arbitrator permitted China to slap duties on up to 3.58 billion dollars worth of US imports in a separate case after finding fault with【找茬，找錯】the way Washington determined whether Chinese products were being dumped on the US market.

2019年11月，世貿組織發(fā)布裁決，中國在訴美國反傾銷措施爭端案中獲得了近36億美元的年度貿易報復額。

3. OLYMPIC VILLAGES OFFICIALLY OPEN

萬眾矚目！冬奧村正式開啟

The three Olympic Villages for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games officially opened to athletes and delegations today (January 27th). About 2,880 athletes from 90 delegations will compete for glory. Zhang Yue has more.

今日（1月27日），北京冬奧會三個賽區(qū)的冬奧村正式開村。90個代表團、約2880名運動員已蓄勢待發(fā)。

The Olympic Village in Beijing's Chaoyang District will host about 20 delegations from countries including France, Italy and Canada. Some athletes have confirmed their information and decorated their rooms.

位于北京朝陽區(qū)的奧運村將接待來自法國、意大利和加拿大等國的約20個代表團。一些運動員已確認了身份信息，并裝飾好了他們的住所。

At the Village in Hebei's Zhangjiakou City, more than 300 people were expected to arrive today (January 27th). And the Village in Beijing's Yanqing District, an advance team from China's delegation has already arrived. Over 60 members of delegations from Poland and Switzerland, and members of the International Olympic Committee have also arrived.

今日（1月27日），預計將有300多人抵達河北省張家口市的奧運村。而中國代表團的先遣隊已經到達北京延慶區(qū)的冬奧村。來自波蘭代表團和瑞士代表團的60多名成員以及國際奧委會成員也已抵達。

A rehearsal【演習，彩排】of the torch relay for the Winter Games was held in Beijing's Olympic Park this morning. The torch relay will take place on February 2nd.

今天早上，北京的奧林匹克公園舉行了冬奧會火炬接力儀式的彩排，正式的火炬接力儀式將于2月2日進行。

The first group of Russian athletes departed for Beijing yesterday (January 26th). A total of 212 Russian athletes with compete in the Beijing Games. The word "Good Luck in Beijing" was printed on a screen at a Moscow airport.

第一批俄羅斯運動員昨日（1月26日）啟程前往北京，本次共有212名俄羅斯運動員參加冬奧會。莫斯科機場的屏幕上也打出了“北京好運”四個字，為運動員們加油。

Japan's women's ice hockey team left Tokyo this morning. Japan is sending its most Winter Olympians ever at 124.

日本女子冰球隊今天早上離開了東京。日本派出了共124名冬奧會選手，為該國家歷屆參賽人數(shù)之最。

The Chinese embassy in the United States and the consulate generals in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago jointly held an online award ceremony for the event "Welcome to Chinese New Year, Celebrate the Winter Olympics" yesterday. Ambassador Qin Gang delivered a speech via video.
