The Chinese mainland imposed sanctions against Hsiao Bi-khim, a diehard "Taiwan independence" separatist on Friday, adding it will take all other necessary punitive measures to hold her accountable in accordance with the law.

4月7日，中國(guó)大陸對(duì)“臺(tái)獨(dú)”頑固分子蕭美琴實(shí)施進(jìn)一步制裁，并補(bǔ)充說(shuō)，將采取所有其他必要的懲罰措施，依法追究她的責(zé)任。

The spokesperson of the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee was authorized Friday to announce sanctions against Hsiao, who is now the representative of the island's secession-desiring Democratic Progressive Party authorities in the United States.

4月7日，中央臺(tái)辦發(fā)言人授權(quán)宣布對(duì)“臺(tái)獨(dú)”頑固分子蕭美琴實(shí)施進(jìn)一步制裁，蕭美琴現(xiàn)在是民進(jìn)黨當(dāng)局在美國(guó)的“臺(tái)獨(dú)”代表。

The sanctions ban her and her family from entering the mainland and Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions.It also bans Hsiao's sponsors and affiliated enterprises from cooperating with mainland organizations and individuals.

制裁嚴(yán)禁蕭及家屬進(jìn)入大陸和香港、澳門(mén)特別行政區(qū)，禁止其金主和關(guān)聯(lián)企業(yè)與大陸組織、個(gè)人合作。

Depending on foreign influence and seeking independence by relying on the US, she deliberately provoked confrontations between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits and wantonly undermined peace and stability across the Straits, further exposing her stubborn nature of seeking "independence", said the spokesperson.

發(fā)言人表示，蕭美琴依靠外國(guó)影響，依靠美國(guó)尋求獨(dú)立，故意挑起兩岸對(duì)抗，肆意破壞海峽兩岸的和平與穩(wěn)定，進(jìn)一步暴露了她尋求“獨(dú)立”的頑固本質(zhì)。

The mainland could take all other necessary punitive measures to hold her accountable in accordance with the law, said the spokesperson.

該發(fā)言人表示，大陸將采取一切必要的懲罰措施，依法追究她的責(zé)任。

History has proven and will continue to prove that "Taiwan independence" is a dead end, and the die-hard "Taiwan independence" separatists who rely on the willful provocation of external forces will surely fail, said the spokesperson.

"No one and no force should underestimate our strong resolve, firm will and strong ability to safeguard China's sovereignty and territorial integrity," added the spokesperson.

The Chinese mainland has decided to take punitive measures against Taiwan's Prospect Foundation and the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats, said Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, on Friday.

4月7日，國(guó)務(wù)院臺(tái)灣事務(wù)辦公室發(fā)言人朱鳳蓮表示，中國(guó)大陸已決定對(duì)臺(tái)灣“遠(yuǎn)景基金會(huì)”、“亞洲自由民主聯(lián)盟”采取懲罰性措施。

The mainland has banned the leaders of the two organizations from entering the mainland and Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, and prohibited relevant mainland organizations and individuals from cooperating with them, she said.

朱鳳蓮說(shuō)，大陸已經(jīng)禁止這兩個(gè)組織的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人進(jìn)入內(nèi)地和香港、澳門(mén)特別行政區(qū)，禁止有關(guān)內(nèi)地組織和個(gè)人與他們合作。
