It was the day after our mid-term examination, and. iIt was actually aSaturday, but due to the time shift I had to go to school and I would get a day off on Monday instead. However, at thatthetime, I couldn’t figure out how it worked, and I justthought I justlost a day toofhavinge fun. By the wayBesides that, I was exhausted after the examination because Iwas bombarded withso many complicated questions.
On the Saturdayunday morning, I told my mom that I had a headache and I didn’t feel well enough to go to school. My mother was very worried about me, and she wanted to take my temperature since a fever can be the sign of a realtrueillness. Feeling quite nervous toaboutbegettingfound out, I refused, covering my head with the blanket. However, my mom wouldn’t justlet it go and kept persuading me. To convince her that I was reallyactuallysick, I had to think about how to fake a fever, so.I took the thermometer into the bathroom, soaked a towel in hot water, wrungit out, andthen placed it against my forehead for 1 minute. This heated up my head and body and made my ‘fever’ more believable. My mother believed me and gave me some tablets before she went to work. My plan worked, and I watched TV all day.
In retrospect, I would rather takeconsiderit as something stupid that I did in my childhood, because although.I skipped school, soI had to spend more timemakeing up for it. It givesgaveme a very important lesson to learn from. Now, I know peoplepeople have to take responsibilities for their actions, andsoI won’t lie to my parents any more.
